Friday 20th of March completed our Seachtain na Gaeilge celebrations. We had Tom Delaney (Ould Crafty) from Claremorris an artist keeping the traditional craft of basket making alive. Tom spent the day with us in St.Anthonys Special School explaining his craft and the willow and products he uses. He helped the students to make beautiful bird feeders that they got to take home.
